The suffering in this world is terrible.
By comparison the suffering needed to prepare yourself to the next world is trivial.
Happy are those who accept the suffering required in pursuit of spirtual perfection.
The pointless suffering of the world brings no rewards;
But– The spirtual suffering brings an eternal reward.

In the rubble of language lives poetry
In the ruins of our vocabularies
are words that sing
Come catch me with my mask off
& show nothing scares you
You don’t scare me either & neither
does how much I love you
That’s how much of a fool I am
Come eviscerate my every reality
You know I long to take your best
I see the poetry glowing about you
I hear the poetry whispering
in the silences between your words
I recall the poetry
you’ve spray painted in my head
I listen to the poetry
that’s too dangerous to work in shifts
I rearrange the poetry according to the energy
O words why are you still unsatisfied?
Come pump me to my last drop once more
Just when I think I’m utterly consumed
you find a new way of burning
You need no effort to spare my feelings
If you’re the tides then I’m a glass of water
The fires in my cells are joyous
I’ve been breathing your name again
Some things are like nailing the weather
If love is all that survives us
then I’m just a line of poetry lost in your eyes
& I must find every lover in you or die

Though your life has almost passed, this present moment is its root: if it lacks moisture, water it with repentance.
Give the Living Water to the root of your life, so that the tree of your life may flourish.
By this Water past mistakes are redeemed. By this Water last year’s poison is made sweet.

I will never leave this house of light, I will never leave this blessed town for here I have found my love and here I will stay for the rest of my life. If this world turns into a sea of trouble I will brave the waves and steer my mind’s ship to the safe shore of love.
If you are a seeker looking for profit go on and may God be with you, but I am not willing to exchange my truth, I have found the heart and will never leave this house of light.
