O Most Loved- By Most Loving

You are my desire In solitary cold, my fire

You are my own The wind to raise my kite down

You are all I have In worlds twin to save

I know of no other love My soul and heart on you thrive

O love of all love O praise of all praise

World’s love vessel Of His Mercy the castle

God made you the merciful sultan Entire world for your compassionate reign

All the sweet words I write Not enough for the love I invoke

I carve out of my heart To join the garland I make

Hand shivers Heart trembles Intellect bows With love, soul radiates

Ask the sun if you don’t believe what it is I say: The darkness of night is the refuge and companion of pretenders and crooks.

Let go of this nightmare that treats you like poison; Once you’ve let it go, sweetness and light will come, you’ll see.

Even if you’re feeling good, don’t stop begging, for treasure only comes From the glimmering glance of the eyes of the beloved, who is nearby.

O pilgrim who is full of love, choose life; for in the end The garden is green and the red rose will sooner or later bloom.

Let patience and victory be your loyal companions, For in the end they are the only friends you need.

No wonder Hafiz sat in his room without a single care; Whoever goes to the Winehouse will one day, for sure, go insane!!
