Love is beautiful desire and a gift that Allah has made compulsary on His creation, So that they can attain higher peasures.

This pleasure cannot be attained wthout love, an emotion that is present within the inner self .

The possessors of this love are well aware of its tremendous worth.

Every person is engulfed in the love of something, through which he finds his path and reaches his/her destintion.

This is way such people enjoy higher status than ordinary beings in this duniya*

Hence, these lovers abandon whatever is tangible for the sake of someting only heard of in stories.

When you come across them as you travel along this tunnel of life leading to eternal life, they will impact on your lives and leave a mark upon you eternally like angels sent to show you the way.

Don’t fear, nor hold any other dear, then your Creator and for whose sake this cosmos of love spins in bliss.

The Lover should leap into the ocean of love, and who is led ashore by the oceans currents will be succesful,
but my dear young brother/sister please do not fear if you drown in your quest to get ashore, However Allah guarantees the rewards for attempt to awaken that love within yourself-

Notes:

  • People have this conception that if you eat from Gold spoons and platters, don the finest garments from the latest fashion line of designers, eat the finest cuisines and boast a portfolio of houses and cars that you have been favoured, But you will see these favoured people amidst yourselves maybe members of your family, tossed around at the hands of corporate goons, pockets with holes yet a heart richer then regal kings. Nothing possessed for themselves but given away for those that surround them, so that others can smile and be happy when you see or speak to them do not lose touch with them because believe me Allah put them in your path and you will never know the wisdom of Allah and the work He Has allotted for His humble slaves.

Kanz-ul-Eeman If you help him (The beloved Prophet) not, then no doubt, Allah helped him, when on account of the mischief of the infidels, he was to go out with only two souls, when they both were in the Cave, and when he said to his companion ‘Grieve not, no doubt Allah is with us’, then Allah sent down His satisfaction on him, and helped him with armies which you did not see, and put down the words of the infidels. It is the word of Allah, alone which is supreme, and Allah is Dominant, Wise.

English(Yusuf_Ali) If ye help not (your leader), (it is no matter): for Allah did indeed help him, when the Unbelievers drove him out: he had no more than one companion; they two were in the cave, and he said to his companion, “Have no fear, for Allah is with us”: then Allah sent down His (Sakinah) (Tranquility) peace upon him, and strengthened him with forces which ye saw not, and humbled to the depths the word of the Unbelievers. But the word of Allah is exalted to the heights: for Allah is Exalted in might, Wise.

Surahe At-Tawba(9) Verse 40

I am a spider who is higher in rank than other spiders. With all humility, if all the spiders in this world were put in one hand and I was put in the other I would outweigh them in superiority. I am not one to make false claims and show-off, I am simply stating facts. I do not think that I need to introduce myself to the reader, for I am sure you understand that I am the spider of the cave that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) hid in. I am the one, who was responsible for the Prophet’s deliverance. I am the one, who Allah sent to protect him.

My web is very flimsy and light and the slightest breeze can blow it away. However, despite the weakness of my web, I managed to ward off the iron swords of the atheists that went out in pursuit of the Prophet, and moreover, I was able to defeat them! The outcome of the conflict between the spiders’ weak silk and the iron of the swords was the defeat of iron. My house is considered a parable of weakness, “Verily, the frailest (weakest) of houses is the spider’s house.” I sat in my house protecting the noble house of Islam and guarding the Prophet of Allah, Muhammad ibn ‘ Abdullah (peace be upon him).

That was not all that happened to me. Something even more wonderful happened; I saw the Prophet. I know that after the Prophet’s physical departure from this mortal world, millions will visit his grave to cry and pray.

Moreover, each one of those who cry and pray will imagine the picture of the Messenger of Allah in his mind. But I saw him. I lived with him for three days. He lived as a guest under my cobweb for three whole days. Ah! My heart spins when I remember these days. They were magnificent. Before I saw him, I only loved spiders, food and life, but after I saw him I could only bring myself to love the truth. I changed after I saw him. Have you ever seen a spider cry before? I did. I, the spider, cried when he (peace be upon him) intended to leave the cave …He left the cave and headed towards the city.

I said to him, “O Messenger of Allah I will miss you…” He (peace be upon him) did not hear me.

I said to him again, “O Messenger of Allah! Give me your hand to kiss or let me kiss the tail of your Coat.” He did not hear me and left. As he was leaving the cave, he was compelled to destroy the house that I had built for him. I did not understand why he did that ‘” I sometimes say that he had to destroy my house in order to get out. My house was the cave’s door, and the door had to be opened. So the Prophet extended his hand towards my home and gently pushed aside my silken web. I tried to get close to him and kiss his hand ‘” He did not notice that I wanted to kiss his hand for he pulled back his hand before I could bow down and kiss it.

He left …

I bowed over the torn silk that had been my house and said, “The silk touched the hand of Allah’s Messenger before I did.” Then I cried. I continued to cry until my house dissolved in my tears and the cave went back to how it had been.

Let me tell my story from the very beginning. I ask the reader to forgive me for I am not myself.

I was a mountain spider and mountain spiders are extremely unlucky. We feed mainly on flies and insects. I was born in a deserted cave in mount Thawr. It is a mountain in Makkah, a small city that I have never seen in my life. Sometimes we hear the doves glorifying Allah from which we understand that they live under the protection of the Sacred House of Allah in Makkah. I tried to imagine how Makkah or the Sacred House of Allah would look but I could not, for I was imprisoned in the cave of Thawr. It is a desolate cave during the day and scary during the night. The cave is in the direction of Yemen. Nobody visits us. Even the beasts flee from the desolation of the mountains and prefer more habitable places.

In brief, I am the mistress of this mountain and its queen.

One day I was dangling by a silken string, which I had made from the cave’s ceiling. It was a very hot day so I was swinging myself to and fro. Then I heard an unearthly voice ask, “Who of Allah’s creatures inhabits this cave?”

Spiritual boundaries were broken and I realized that I was hearing the voice of an angel. I stopped swinging, bowed my whole body and prostrated in greeting.

I answered the angelic voice saying, “The spider of this cave Meme the daughter of Muma the granddaughter of Mamu is honored to speak with you.”

The angelic voice said, “Come out to the door of the cave.”

I moved the silken string to the door of the cave and came out.

The voice said, “After awhile, two of Allah’s men will come to this cave …Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companion in this life and the Hereafter, Abu Bakr.”

I asked, “And who is Muhammad (peace be upon him)?”

The voice replied, “He is the last of the Prophets of Allah on the earth, the mercy of Allah that He sent to the worlds. You will be the servant of him and his companion for three days in the cave.”

I was filled with wonder and delight and my surprise increased with every passing minute. I said, “What brings him here to this desolate cave?”

The voice again replied, “He has fled his home for the sake of Allah’s religion and the atheist tribes want his blood. How much time do you need in order to build your house over the door of the cave?”

As I was measuring angles, I said, “Four hours of constant work separated by two periods of rest.”

The angelic voice ordered, “Work without resting …Allah has charged you with the responsibility to safeguard His Prophet …Divine Protection has put the seal on the fate of the final Message and the future of an entire civilization in your trust.”

I deepened my prostration and whispered, “I hear and obey!”

The head angel left, and in an atmosphere of silence and desolation, I started working.

I examined my seven glands that make silk and they were full. I closely examined the entrance of the cave. The door was wide and I started measuring the angles and quickly calculated from which angle I should begin. “I will need six solid pillars of silk to produce from them twenty-six strings that will act as supplementary pillars. Also, I will need ninety-five strings in order to support the walls,” I thought.

After that, I started to make the silk, which looks so flimsy, but which is stronger than anything solid as it turns into a fine string that is one thousandth of an inch in diameter. That is the diameter of the string within my web.

People do not know that spiders can measure angles and divide them, and that they can assess the durability of materials and the average of pressure. Moreover, they can calculate thousands of complicated architectural problems that people face in the building process. People do not know that spiders weave many kinds of silk to fulfill their all needs. We use our webs to trap a prey, as a dining table, a bed, a sheet, an alarm system, a getaway, a means of transportation and as a shield for protection. In other words, we spiders produce the most useful of material that can be used for many purposes.

The silk that a spider’s gland secretes is undoubtedly like the silk produced by a caterpillar but there are some differences. It is these differences that make the spider’s weave better, for it is finer, softer and more solid than any other silk. I was surprised to find the Messenger entering the cave with Abu Bakr. I stopped working for a moment and looked at his noble and majestic face that looks like a sheet of gold and felt a deep sense of reverence.

After that I said, “Welcome a Messenger of Allah.”

I had hardly finished my greeting to him when I began weaving my house over the door of the cave. I descended vertically from the cave’s opening to its floor while weaving my silk. Then I pulled it and fixed it to the ground with an acidic substance that my gland secretes. After that, I climbed up quickly to the entrance of the cave and started to go up and down leaning to the right and to the left while I was weaving my house. The weaving took three hours, six minutes and twenty seconds.

The atheists came to the entrance of the cave with their shiny swords standing face to face with my spidery web.

One of the atheists said, “If he had entered here then this spider’s web would not be over the door.”

I smiled a wide smile inside my house and Abu Bakr said to the Prophet (in a low voice), “If one of them were to look under his feet he would find us.”

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “Have no fear for Allah is with us.”

The Messenger had hardly spoken these words when the place suddenly became full of angels, and it was filled with a voice saying, “If you help him (Muhammad) not (it does not matter), for Allah did indeed help him when the disbelievers drove him out, the second of two, when they (Muhammad and Abu Bakr) were in the cave, and he (peace be upon him.) said to his companion Abu Bakr (May Allah be pleased with him), “Be not sad (or afraid), surely Allah is with us.” Then Allah sent down His Sakinah (calmness, tranquility, peace, etc.) upon him, and strengthened him with forces (angels) which you saw not, and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowermost, while it was the Word of Allah that became the uppermost, and Allah is All-Mighty, All- Wise.”

After the voice had subsided, once again the cave became full of angels. I was surprised to find angels standing in front of my spidery house and standing behind it.

I asked the one closest to me, “What has happened?”

He replied, “We have come by an Order from Allah to protect His beloved noble Prophet.”

I was screaming and I said, “But I am commissioned to protect him and guard him! Why are you breaking my heart? No one can transgress against him! He is my guest and I am his servant.”

I cried because I was so emotionally worked up and I was surprised to discover that I could cry. I turned towards the Prophet wanting to complain to him. But I found him preoccupied with prayer. He was praying and his companion, Abu Bakr, was praying behind him. When they prostrated, I prostrated with them.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
As-salamu alaikum, dear brothers and sisters,

Several Sundays Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Nazim al Haqqani - the one and only Grandsheikh of the Naqshbandi Tariqat - didn’t speak. Only now he gave a message for the occasion of the ‘New Year’ celebration.

Please allow me a few words. It is winter time and Mawlana does get colds and flues and sometimes he has an upset stomach. His spirit, though, is perfectly well!

We can express our love and gratitude for his ongoing precious service to the Ummah Muhammadi, the whole of mankind and the whole of creation, visible and invisible, by praying for him. Not just when we hear that he is not so well, but every day and like this we also connect our hearts to his- through love and gratitude!

We are thanking Allah Almighty for creating such a precious and beloved servant and we are thanking Rasulullah sws for appointing Mawlana to represent him in creation in this time. We are thanking Grandsheikh (and all of the Grandsheikhs of the most distinguished Naqshbandi Tariqat) for sending him to us, the Seal of Saints, the one who is preparing the way for Mehdi – alayhi salam and Jesus aalayhi salam!

We have to realize that his burden and duty are immense and support him with our prayers and by listening to and applying his teachings and becoming a shining star on the sky of humanity! The good news is that Mawlana has a promise from Allah Almighty to be the Grandsheikh of the Naqshbandi Tariqat in the time of Sayyidina Mehdi – alayhi salam - and he himself said that insha Allah he will see Sayyidina Jesus – alayhi salam - also! So his time will come when he will openly be the Sultan of hearts! He is waiting paitently since more than 60 years and he used to tell us the story of Maulana Yusuf who spent 40 years in the most terrible dungeon and who survived it, because he had a promise of Allah Almighty that he knew about and also he had an unshakeable belief!

So please keep up a good spirit and hope always and try to help him as much as possible within your family, among your friends, your community, mankind and creation!

Mawlana said that in Muharram there will be spiritual power descending from Heavens, a new power will come and those prepared can feel it.

May Allah grant us good understanding and willpower and a strong faith!

The new year, Muharram, is near - may it be blessed for all of you! May Allah grant special blessings to those, who have helped me and supported my work with the sohbets!

One more thing: There are some agents and servants of Shaytan - that some of them are even pretending to be Naqshbandi-follower s (!) - who join the forums and spread negative and doubtful emails and all kinds of messages and rumours about what apparently Mawlana said or did… For their dirty purposes they not only use his name, but also abuse the names of brothers and sisters of our Tariqat, making it look as if the messages come from them!! Please - if you receive some doubtful messages or hear rumours, don’t allow bad thoughts and doubts about Mawlana to creep into your heart and poison you and your faith! Try to remain calm and positive in the face of such a test and, if you can, clarify the matter! Be very careful about spreading these things around without clarifying the matter - that will make you also responsible!

We may all make mistakes and may not have conquered our ego, but never ever say or believe something negative about Mawlana!! He is way beyond anything you can imagine! To say or think anything bad about Mawlana is even dangerous, because Allah Almighty Himself says in a famous hadith that He is declaring war against those, who declare war against His Friends, the holy ones!

May Allah protect us from the tricks and traps of Shaytan and his agents and our own bad ego that is ever so ready to make partnership with them!

May Allah open our eyes and correct us and grant us the sincerity of a Siddiq!

May Allah bless, grant an opening and protect him, who is the guide of our time, and turn the whole of mankind towards him, to be safely taken home to where we really belong - inna li-llahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun!

As-salamu alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh!
Khairiyah

Sohbet from January, 1st For the occasion of the ‘New Year’ celebration
The Sound of Haqq must be heard in East and West!

Destur ya Sayydi, Meded
As-salamu alaikum!
About one week I am not enough strong to speak to you and people (are) rushing on me. Alhamdulillah, today a little bit my Lord granted (me) power for addressing to you. May Allah bless His most beloved servant, (His) most glorious servant Sayyidina Muhammad – sallaLlahu alayhi wa sallam -, that we are in existence through that one.

Audhu bi-llahi mina Shaytani rajim
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Allah Almighty first of all (is) warning: “O people, O My servants, beware (of) Shaytan!”

Up to day I (am) never looking and seeing a writing: ‘O people, beware (of) Shaytan’. But (in front of) so many houses you may find a writing: ‘Beware (of the) dog!’ That means (that) dogs (are) more, much more important than Shaytan. That means! They are saying: ‘Beware (of the) dog!’ Why (they are) not warning people, (those,) whom they are leaders or guides, to say to people: “Beware (of) Shaytan”? Therefore, we are asking to follow and to listen and to obey to our Lords Advice. He created us and (He is) warning us: “Beware (of) Shaytan!”

Now we are saying: Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim, (the) first awakening. (The) first awakening is to say: Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. That prevents Shaytan to reach to you. We are weak people, coming here… through billions of people coming here a handful people, but the sound of Haqq may be heard through East and West, that the Lord (is) saying : “My servants, beware [of] Shaytan!” If they are not hearing today, tomorrow (they) must hear, or after tomorrow, after tomorrow. Today we are here a handful people from different places of this world, from different countries, different races, different colours, different languages… we are here, and today is a holiday. It is not good to say a ‘holy day’, but that is, for whole people, when they are not working, it is ‘holiday’.’ Holiday’ means to give yourself that day for holy tings, to make Allah Almighty happy with you. That is ‘holy’ day. Not those people that they are getting disobedient to their Lord and they are saying: “This is a holiday!” No, that is Shaytans holiday!

Now, today there is a speciality through East and West, including (the) Islamic world, including Muslims. For what? They are saying: “Today (is) the first of a new year!” What is new year, new born year? 2008. They are adding this. Today (is) 1st January of 2008. This happening that just before (to)day, last night, it was the last night, they are saying, for 2007. And people, I don’t know from where they are making such a things? Perhaps it was something in Christianity; they are saying: “That it is the birthnight or birthday of Sayyidina Isa - alayhi salam , Jesus Christ.” Even Christians they are not coming all together to say: “That night was the birth night of Jesus Christ.” They are coming (to) each other with wrong ideas. Some of them (are) saying: “It was (the) 25th,” some (are) saying: “Just (it was the) 31st of January”, some others (are) saying another, another, another… and it is just clear… And every historian person they are knowing that no one was expecting that should come such a person and he should be a prophet, just surrounded with ‘khawariq’, miraculous powers, miracles… No one (was) expecting and no one knowing that Sayyidatina Maryam - alayha salam, she was carrying a baby, no, because she was well-known that (she was) unmarried and she was just granted for the Lord’s service. Therefore it was impossible (for) anyone to follow her (to) where she was going and bringing that baby, no, in opposite. When they are hearing that, such a thing, they were so angry people. First of all their nation, Banu Israel, Children of Israel, (were) very angry. And there was Zakariya alayhi salam; they were accusing Sayyidina Zakariya - Astaghfirullah! Therefore, (it was) never written through any history book that Jesus Christ (was) born on that night or that night. (There is) no any ‘dalil’, proof. (There is) no proof for them! Therefore it is, from the base, it is nonsense, (it) can’t be believed such a thing! And historians, they never writing such a thing, if they are not… 100% or less or more satisfaction through their hearts. All of them after written and they are saying: “This night or that night.”

Yes, if they are accepting that, before time it was, if we are accepting that, it was a holy night. Holy night, not dancing night! Not to do every bad thing that Heavens (are) preventing and cursing! That is not such a night! If really it was that night, it was a holy night and they must come to their churches or their monasteries or everywhere that they are praying, Christians; they must come, they must do their thanks to Allah Almighty and to ask forgiveness! That was suitable (for) such a Heavenly event (that) just happened, to say: “O our Lord, thanks that You sent us a guide to reach to Your Divinely Presence!” That was suitable. But now… what they are doing? What they are doing! They are doing every cursed acting and they are saying: “This is a free night for us to do everything!” Governments (are) coming to be drunk; governments (are) drunk (?), everywhere whole people, they are drunk, they are saying: “This night is free to do everything. We can do everything!” Okay, you can do, but what about for Muslims? (In Turkish: Eh, we celebrated it in our house. We prepared a Turkey, prepard the table, we dressed new clothes, we danced, we congratulated each other for the new year, we did everything.. .no money is left in our pockets… we woke up in the dirt next morning… )

What about for (the) Muslims world?… S.!… Sleeping?… For (the) Muslim world we are saying…they are following (the) Christian world. And the Seal of Prophets was saying… in a paper, (on a) calendar, in one paper, it is written the meaning of one Hadith Sharif… I am saying (the) origin of (this) Hadith Nabawi Sharif sws, then (about its) meaning a little bit I may say, insha Allah… Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. Qala al-Nabi - alayhi salat wa salam… Once the Seal of Prophets was saying to his companions: “O my companions”, …(?) That is a ‘mu’jiza’, miracle, that he is warning his nation from coming days (that) they are reaching… Rasulullah (was) saying:

“O my nation and O my companions! You are going to follow the ways of those people, first Jewish people, second Christians; both of them, they passed before you. (The) Old Testament for Jewish people, they left it. (The) New Testament, Christians, they are changing every kind, and they are doing every bad thing and (they are) saying: ‘That is true way, our nations (way)!’

O my nation, I am looking and seeing that you are running after Jewish and Christians ways, that it is haram, prevented, Allah Almighty never likes it! (It is) never acceptable, but you are going to do, as they are doing, following them on their foot(step)s; where they are putting their foot, you are putting our foot there! Even… there is a creature, (it has) small legs, but you can see no any bones. Small feet. They are making their holes to get in safety from other creatures so narrow, only it may enter; because (it has) no bones, (it is) coming (in). If they are doing this, from those people, whom they (have been) given holy books, you are going to follow them foot on foot; you are going to do, as they are doing!”

And you may see in streets people, their dressings; particularly young girls, what they are dressing, (is) so narrow, so narrow! Because it is new fashion. And (they are) sending (that) - Jewish and Christians - to (the) Islamic world, to do (it) and to dress (in such a way)and (they are) saying: “That is (the) new fashion and (it is) modern, modern life, this!”

That is Prophet’s informing ourselves. Is it alright or not? (The) Prophet was saying with a powerful speaking that: “You are going to do that! ‘Muhaqqaq’, no doubt, you are going to do!”

Before 15 centuries he was saying what we are in it now. And we are asking… and today, (in the) morning, I am asking: “What news? Any news?” and first, just as (we are) opening (the TV), (they are showing) from Baghdad, Baghdad, that people are living, killing and bombing… and they are all of them through streets, shouting, drinking, making every forbidden thing… Look! If I am saying to them: “Go, there is Sultan Gilani, Abdul Qadr Gilani - qaddassaLlahu sirrahu-l ‘ali! Go there and ask him, he is Sultan, he may send away every ‘mujrim’, criminal, may send them away through one night!” they are saying: “Ehhh, for what we are going? Yet you are believing in such a things?” And they should be punished! (The) Arab world should be punished! (The) Islamic world should be punished! Just now trees (are) throwing their leaves, (and the) Islamic world (is) going to be like this… Beware, beware (of) Shaytan! Shaytan, (to) where (he is)bringing people? May Allah forgive us!

O our Lord, don’t write our names with such a people! Keep ourselves on Your right path! Amen, ya Allah!

That is a warning! Anyone listening, (it is) for himself! (If) not listening, his punishment for him or for her should be. May Allah forgive us and send us such a people! If they are coming and finding… Also there is 40 powerful people on earth that may be their power like (the) power of Sayydine Gilani - Allah bless him. If you can find one of them, he may do as (he is) doing, Gilani Hazretleri.. . But they are not looking! They are saying: “This is (fairy-)tales” …

Therefore, today, Alhamdulillah, just I am warning my ego and all of you also here: Beware! When a Heavenly punishment (is) coming, it is so difficult to be taken away! If (it is) reaching, (it is) reaching and finishing them… May Allah forgive us! For the honour of the Seal of Prophets Sayyidina Muhammad – sallaLlahu alayhi wa sallam wa ala alihi wa sahbihi…

Fatiha!

Poetry, Suhbats-TalksNovember 2, 2007 10:01 pm

I have read lot’s of beautiful literature on the blessed sandal, poetry in praise and honourary literature. But My masters stood heightened above all. Hazrat Abdur Rahman Jami had this unique quality of expressing his love and veneeration in poetry which we shall highlight in a bit.

The prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasallam wore a special kind of sandal, the two strings of which were drawn between the blessed toes. These sandals (na’l, became likewise an amulet full of baraka particularly strong against the evil eye. Were they not worthy of all admiration and veneration, for the prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasallam had touched the Divine Throne with them during his heavenly journey, so that they became "the vertex of the crown of the Throne" (1)

Our master Hazrat Abdur Rahman Jami for example further writes that all heavenly beings rubbed "forhead of their intention" on RasulAllah’s SallAllahu alaihi wasallam "Throne rubbing Sandals"(2) He also writes that the heavenly tree ‘Tuba’ had rubbed its head at the Prophet’s SallAllahu alaihi wasallam sandal and thus reached highest honour, and he repeatedily expresses the feeling that ‘the thread of the soul is nothing but the string of RasulAllah’s SallAllahu alaihi wasallam sandals and that cheek of the longing lover resembles the fine Ta’ifi leather of which these sandals were made: do the lover’s cheeks not hope to be touched by the Prophet’s holy feet thus to obtain every conceivable bliss.

The poets, many of them from North Africa and Spain, described these blessed sandals or expressed their longing for them. Thus an Andalusian poetess, Sa’duna Umm Sa’d bint Isam al Himyarriya begins one of her poems with the words;

‘I shall kiss the image if I do not find

A way to kiss the Prophet’s sandal.

Perhap’s the good fortune of kissing it

Will be granted to me in Paradise in the most radiant place,

And i rub my heart on it so that perhaps

The burning thirst which rages in it maybe quenched. (3)

The North African historian al Maqarri devoted a voluminous book to the subject of the Prophet’s SallAllahu alaihi wasallam sandals, its more then 500 pages contain not only prose and poetical texts but also drawings of the blessed sandals as they were used by people as a protective talisman, for it protected one’s house from fire, caravans from hostile attacks, ships from disaster at sea and property from loss.’ Around the turn of the present century Hazrat Yusuf Nabhani, the collector of eulogies for the Prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasallam, sang in one of his poems:

"Verily i serve the image of the sandal of Mustafa

So that i may live in both worlds under its protection"

Popular songs in honour of the Nalain Sharif (Noble Sandals) have persisted down to the present, according to a Iraqi friend who remembered such songs from childhood in Baghdad.

In addition to the sandals, another relic that became widely accepted was the impression of the beloved Prophet’s SallAllahu alaihi wasallam blessed foot. According to historians RasulAllah SallAllahu alaihi wasallam foot left a trace on the rock in Jerusalem where he alighted during his (night journey) before ascending into the Divine Presence. The dome of the rock was built in honour and protect that site, which is greatly revered.

At various times and places other large stones have been found with an impression in them that came to be regarded as the trace of the Prophet’s SallAllahu alaihi wasallam foot, and hence worthy of veneration. It is also believed that the Abbasid caliph recieved as a gift a pair of sandals attributed to the beloved prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasallam and paid a hefty and handsome amount even though he did not believe in their authenticity.

People for centuries gained blessings and veneered anything connceted to the blessed feet of RasulAllah SallAllahu alaihi wasallam. In the year 1304, the reformist theologian Ibn Taimiyya, who tried to remove such a stone in Damascus to stop the percieved superstitious practices with it, was driven away by the enraged masses and even accused of impiety.

From the middle ages onward such stones and relics were bought to India by credulous pilgrims. One of the first known instances is connected with the name of a Suharwardi saint ‘Hazrat Makhdoom Jahaniyan’ from Uchh, who deposited such a qadam e rasul SallAllahu alaihi wasallam (Footprint of the prophet) in Delhi.

It must have been this very qadam mubarak (holy footprint) that Sultan Feroz Ghazi Malik placed on his son’s tomb. As late as the early nineteenth century, an annual fair also was held on the 12th Rabi ul Awwal at that very site: one observer in 1840 reported that ‘thousands upon thousands thronged and assemble and perform ecstasies in front of its gate.’ (5)

Soon a number of places between Nayanganj (Bangladesh), Gaur (West Bengal) and Gujrat boasted of owning such a relic.

The veneration for the qadam e rasul mubarak SallAllahu alaihi wasallam was so deeply rooted that even the Mughal emperor Akbar waited upon such a blessed stone that one of his grandees had bought back from Makkah in 1589. Because this happened after the ruler had promulgated the deen e Elahi, his eclectic religious order, the critical chronicler Badaoni notes the event with great amazement: how such respect for the Prophet’s footprint SallAllahu alaihi wasallam compatible with the ruler’s otherwise so "unIslamic" attitude. A great Urdu poet whose name i cannot recall writes;

‘The trace of his foot has the rank of Mount Sinai’ that is, it is the place where Divine Light becomes visible, and therefore, Mustafa’s footprint is the place where the bearers of the Divine Throne prostrate.’

Syedina Muhammad Mustafa SallAllahu alaihi wasallam is the colour of the rose of Love,

And his curls are the spring of the hyacinths Love,

Certainly, he, he alone is the most radiant sun of Love,

And through him are illuminated the luminous stars of Love

Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim

Peace be with you.

Alhamdulilah- Hopefully many of you can maybe benefit from the following research. I will try and keep it brief and to the point so it can benefit all.

Firstly, let me state i am completely heart-broken at the lack of research and educational information available through various Islamic institutes so people can benefit from the deeper principles of sufism and show how they are beneficial and in harmony with Islamic teachings. It is sad how such vital and important issues are brushed aside. Do any of the critiques of this practice of sema (whirling) realise how many people are coming into the fold of Islam through this? Many of you may have read the numerous defences of this act today we shall see how Allah has made this act manifest in His creation for a reason.

Traditional Muslims themselves get caught in the web of deceit layed down by those that wish to label every Islamic practice as a innovation, or association with Oneness of Allah only because they are people who are ill informed. It’s not their fault in my opinion but due to the lack of literature on the subject. People are not sure of, what, how? and why? this practice takes place. But often the critques of this practice are those laden with books and do not see betond the circle their imagination has percieved for them.

Before we can emphasise on the actual whirling (sema) practiced by the melvelis it is vital that we look at practices that already exist in Islam and in general the environment around us.

This orthodox Muslim faith is characterized by the Five Pillars, which include the confession of faith (“There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet”), prayer, charity, fasting, and the pilgrimage to Mecca. As with all Muslims, most Sufis embrace these tenets, but venture beyond them to esoteric practices as well sometimes subtly reinterpreting them in the process. Put another way, Islam may be (though does not have to be) viewed as a primarily external path of devotion to Allah, whereas virtually all forms of mysticism, including Sufism, are overtly internal in their focus, desiring nothing short of complete union with God: God and the soul united as one. Sufism, then, is not content to follow the external path of devotion to Allah, but desires spiritual union with him in a life centered primarily inward such that the invisible is always brought to bear upon the visible.

Lets begin with Islam as the critics of this act are mainly muslims; where as the non muslims are fascintated

Historically, Sufism grew as a corrective both to the excessive legalism emphasized by the mullahs (Muslim clerics) on the one hand and the increasing decadence of the Muslim empire on the other; it also formed a middle ground between those parts of the Qu’ran that characterize Allah as an omnipotent ruler and judge and those that describe him as being nearer to humanity than breath, within the human hearthirling.

Islamically- One the main pillers of our religion is Hajj.

Your hajj is incomplete if you do not perform the final tawaaf (circumblation around the Kaaba) what does this circumblation consist of?

Tawaf - one of the rites of the Hajj, in which pilgrims move in a circular, counter-clockwise procession around the Ka’bah.

Circumumbulating the Ka’bah and kissing the stone are in fact considered the Tawaf’s outer aspects, apart from its inner significance. They resemble something like the standing, bowing, prostrating and sitting postures observed in the daily Islamic prayers. Yet, the prayer postures, as well as the circling around the Ka’bah coupled with kissing, both form the outward shell of the chaff, which preserves the grain. The grain of the Tawaf lies in the lofty meanings of the Pilgrim’s recitation and prayers, in the soul-stirring emotions surging in his heart - such as his extreme love for Allah, his awe of Him, and his high hopes in Him.

It is firmly established when the dervishes enter the sacred space, they are wearing black outer robes signifying the “tomb of the ego”; their “tall camel-hair hat . . . the tombstone”  While performances may differ, often a sole ney, or flute, accompanies the dance, suggestive of the very soul of the universe (ibid.). Three times the dervishes circle counterclockwise—the direction pilgrims encircle the Kaaba and the planets orbit the sun—and then receive a blessing and a kiss from the shaykh or teacher. Rotations complete, they cast aside their black cloaks—the nafs or ego to which they must die—to reveal the purity of white floor-length robes beneath that began to swell into graceful bells as first the right foot steps across the left and then the left circles to meet the right, right, then left, right, then left, breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out. Their right hand is open, palm upward; their left hand is open, palm downward: “From God we receive,” it is explained of the upturned hand, “to humankind we give” of the other: “we keep nothing for ourselves” This is not to symbolise us but the message of RasulAllah as it was he who was instructed ‘my beloved take ask from me, and distribute amongst creation as my viceregent’

Let it be clear to all that this is solely for Allah- Swiftly moving on.

Now let’s take a minute and look at it from a scientfic and natural prospective.

Lets begin with the earth where we mere specks of dust dwell upon with the will of Allah.

When viewed from above the north pole, does the Earth rotate clockwise or counterclockwise?

Do you see it?

Counterclockwise. When it is 12 o’clock in New York and that part of the Earth directly faces the Sun, it is only 9 o’clock in California. In 3 hours California will have rotated to the position where New York was.

One may explain that "clockwise" and "counterclockwise" is relative, it depends on the place from which one views the motion–it is not something absolute.

Viewed from the far south, the Earth seems to rotate clockwise. To demonstrate: Hold a plate vertically in your left hand, on your left side, with the top of the plate facing the class, Slowly circle a finger around it in a clockwise direction. Then gradually swing the arm to your right, with the finger continuing in the same circle. The class now watches the bottom of the plate, and the same motion seems to be counterclockwise. You guys following me?

Shall we move on to the cosmos?

Nearly everything in the Solar system revolves around the Sun in the plane of the ecliptic—and rotates on its axis within that orbit—in the direction that we call counterclockwise. This counterclockwise orientation is so universal that the few bodies (the planets Venus, Uranus and Pluto, about half of the Jovian outer moons, the Saturnian moon Phoebe and the Neptunian moon Triton) that do not conform to it are usually referred to as "retrograde" motion—they’re literally moving backward relative to everything else.

We call this direction also counterclockwise because the first clocks were sundials and the time was read by watching the shadow of the gnomon, which of necessity moves conversely opposite to the apparent motion of the Sun.

The Earth revolves counterclockwise around the Sun and rotates counterclockwise on its axis.

Hey don’t you see it? Maybe the following diagram can put things into a better prespective?

Air we breath?

How about the stars?

The most interesting bit was not the counter clockwise of the stars in the sky, but their movement towards earth itself;

Please check the following diagram for a star path how it appears to us here on earth on each day; (You can go to any reliable star gazer and he will confirm it with you. emoticon

There are so many other natural process ranging from the black hole above our solar system, the effect and travelling of light in its form, how solar energy and energy in general is formed,  the shape and form unique to molecules, DNA. The ripples formed in the ocean ;

Now here is someone who experimented with using counter-clockwise spinning to raise energy:

http://www.saltcube.com/out-of-body/chat-forum/viewTopic.jsp?t=7345

One of the most interesting things about the whirling to me is the part where they form a ‘top’ using their clothes:

Mentioned is the top shape the Dervishes form is probably related to a wormhole from physics:

——————————————————————————–
Henry also discussed a whirling dervish performance he saw in Luxor. He labeled the spinning mystic prayer the "Wormhole Dance." Dervish, he explained means doorway, and the dancer’s movement with 2 skirts took on the resemblance of saucer-shaped UFOs and interconnected wormholes, he said.
——————————————————————————–

Here’s his web site:
http://site.williamhenry.net/

Here’s some more interpretation of the top shape:

http://www.soulsofdistortion.nl/SODA_chapter6.html

Now Islamically, naturally and scientfically it is proven and obvious to all needless to say the whirling of the dervish is also counter clockwise check it out for yourself.

Rotation and its effect on blood
http://www.harmonicsinternational.com/news_bloodrotation.htm

Summary so far- Tawwaf (pilgrim circling the Kaaba) is that the Earth rotates on its axis east to west. Since the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. This movement is counter clockwise. So is the Tawwaf, taking the Kaaba as the axis. The pilgrims circulate the Kaaba counter clockwise. The earth itself orbits around the sun in a counter clockwise direction. There was a fifty-fifty chance of being right. Equally, there was a fifty-fifty chance of being wrong. Since the guidance was from Allah the Tawwaf is in perfect harmony with Allah’s creation of night and day. The Tawwaf is in perfect harmony with Allah’s creation of seasons of the sun.

Now, if we look at the clocks and watches, their movement is clockwise, which is left to right as the English language for example. Had the inventor of the clock been a Muslim we would today have clocks with movement from right to left. Which is in counter clockwise direction with numbers also increasing in counter clockwise direction. Then the counter clockwise direction would have been clockwise direction. Therefore the inventors of the present day clocks were sub-consciously trying to master time by designing the clocks that go in the opposite direction to the rotation of the earth and its orbit. All this in order to avoid their meeting with their Maker.
Do be careful because it is some of these biased ‘Proffesors’ who actually oppose counter clockwise movement.

They overlooked two things. One, time waits for no man. Two, even if time went backwards, they would still meet their Maker. Because He existed at the beginning, He exists now. And He will exist always. Muhammad said: "Allah was and there was nothing besides Him". And Ali ibn Talib (ra) replied: "And Allah is now as He was before".

Which means ‘This moment is that same moment’

Now that we have seen the Tawwaf in macrocosm. Let us look at it in microcosm. Every atom of a body, whether human, plant, stone and even the hardest substances diamond and tungsten are performing continuous Tawwaf, day and night, night and day. They all have particles orbiting about an axis. The discovery of the atom was the scientific advancement in our time.

Alas i arrive at the final part;

What is this spinning i hear you say?

As i say, no matter from where they start, lovers have their smart practice of finally ending it in their beloved’s favor! I think many of you will now have a gist of exactly what i am trying to get at, and if not well i well not quench the thirst of your intellect by penning the thought of the heart, please dwell upon what is presented and contemplate deep.

O Lord!
I knew this world through him
‘I am’ is through the light of ‘Meem’

‘Laila’ was proven via Majnun’s eyes
Without him, the cosmos were deaf and blind

Angels, Books, Hereafter…
All I believed through him

This slave reached his Rabb
Through the paths of Yatrib

Today if I have names and ways-
To call upon You is he my only means

Indeed all these acts and practices are to bear testimony to the One Lord who created everything with His will and all will come to a end at His will. But Allah says to his beloved in the Quraan Sharif;

WarafaAAna laka thikraka

Surahe Al-Sharh(94) Ayat 4

Kanz-ul-Eeman
And We have exalted for you your remembrance.
English(Yusuf_Ali)
And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)?

The Meem in Ahmad is the door that leads to Ahad which is the Oneness of Allah.

He has no partners. That is Syedina Muhammad’s position in the creation must be acknowledged before Allah will allow anyone to get close to Him. Looking at it in Arabic:

Ahad is spelled

Ahmad is spelled

The difference between Ahad and Ahmad is the Arabic letter Meem also written as . { Semen is a meem goes into an egg after 9 months of seclusion Human being is born from the Meem}

It is not a coincidence that Allah revealed the Quran in Arabic without the Arabic language having some mystical superiority over the other languages.

Coming back to Ahad and Ahmad, the difference between the two words is the Meem of Syedina Muhammad SallAllahu alaihi wasallam this Meem in itself has so much that volumes could be written and why no one has? Allah and His Rasul know best.

To realize Allah’s Oneness a person must send blessings to Allah’s Beloved because he is the door and no one can pass that door without realizing Syedina Muhammad’s SallAllahu alaihi wasallam position in closeness to Allah.

Only by acknowledging the superiority of Syedina Muhammad SallAllahu alaihi wasallamcan a person have his/her prayers answered.

This is achieved by loving Syedina Muhammad SallAllahu alaihi wasallam more than any other person in this world.

Loving Syedina Muhammad SallAllahu alaihi wasallam more than his/her parents and/or children.

In order to have his/her prayer accepted by Allah, a person must send blessings (Darood) on the Prophet.

He is the key to Allah’s door.

Knowledge comes from Allah through Syedina Muhammad SallAllahu alaihi wasallam .

Not without Syedina Muhammad SallAllahu alaihi wasallam.

Now stop for a minute! What is the shape of the Meem which directon? Is the meaning of the most praised one of creation becoming clear?

Hakim in Mustadrik and Abu as-Shaykh in Tabqat al-Isfahani’in report from Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbas that:

"Allah revealed to Syedina Isa that: O ‘Isa! Have Iman in Syedina Muhammad and order your ummah to do the same. If Syedina Muhammad was not in existence, I would not have created Adam nor would I have made heaven or hell". (Also from Shaykh Taqi ad-Din Subki in Shifa as-Siqam and Shaykh al-Islam al-Bulqini in his fatawa and ibn Hajar in Afdal al-Qur’an). .

Dailami in Musnad al-Firdaus reports from Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbas that:

"Rasoolallah said that Jibra’il came to me and said that Allah says: If you were not created, I would not have made the heaven or hell".

There are several hadiths but i think its enough that two are cited for this research and help to establish my point.

Finally closing with a verse from the gospal of barnabas:

A priest asked Jesus tell me something more about the coming messiah?"

Jesus (pbuh) answered: "The name of the messiah is admirable for God Himself gave him the name when he created his soul, and placed it in a celestial splendour. God said": "Wait Muhammad : For thy sake I will create paradise, the world, and great multitude of creatures, whereof i make thee present, in so much that whoso shall curse thee shall be accursed. When I shall send thee into the world i shall send thee as My messenger of salvation, and thy word shall be true, in so much that heaven and earth shall fail, but thy faith shall never fail"

The crowd lifted up their voices with the priest saying, "O God send us thy Messenger: O Muhammad SallAllahu alaihi wasallam come quickly for the salvation of the world…………

(Barnabas pg 105)

In essence Syedina Ali explained that everything lies in the dot. When one zooms in on the dot it resembles a Meem and if the the centre of the Meem is filled in, it resembles the ‘dot’ This is why Baba Bulle Shah said; Gal Ik Nukhte which mukh de eh (Everything and the whole mystery is in the dot) (Press link to hear in the voice of Late Great Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan may Allah have mercy on his soul)

Click for translation-

Finally: My question if God made in his creation manifest this counter clockwise movement why do you grunt and huff and puff of practices that you are ill educated about?

This is a grand topic and just leads from one spectrum to another- InshAllah i have presented it as far it has come and hopefully it will grow over time. Your supplications are also needed.

According to one account, Shams Tabrez’s Master, Bibi Kamaluddin Jandi, ordered him to proceed to Rum and give solace and peace to one pining heart there. Shams Tabrez thereupon came to Koniya. One day Maulana Rumi’s procession was proceeding with great pomp and splendor.

Shams Tabrez, stopping the procession on the way asked Maulana Rumi, “What is meant by Mujahida and Riazat (penances and similar practices)”? Maulana Rumi replied, “It is to obey the command of the Shariyat [law]”. Shams Tabrez retorted, “That of course, everybody knows”. Maulana Rumi thereupon asked, “What can be of greater significance that this?” Shams Tabrez replied, “The purpose of knowledge is to take you to the Abode of God.” So saying, he recited the following couplet of Hakim Sanai:

Ignorance is better than the kind of knowledge which does not rid you of egotism and I-ness.

Hearing this from Shams Tabrez, Maulana Rumi accepted him as his Master.

When the Master discloses the Secrets and Mysteries of the human microcosm, your soul and mind will rush in rapture towards the high heavens.

Suhbats-TalksAugust 22, 2007 4:03 pm

All Prayers and Blessings of Allah be upon the Prophet of Allah.

Today let us look at the first name of Allah’s most beautiful names, Al-Fattah; The Superb Arbiter. I will try and divide into four main parts: the first part tackles the meanings of The Superb Arbiter; the second part mentions four important points to bear in mind when remembering The Superb Arbiter, the third part is that Ramadan is the month of conquests and grants (As it is less the 20 odd days away from us now and the last part is about our duties towards The Superb Arbiter.

The name Al-Fattah has three meanings. The first meaning is that when all doors are closed, Allah with His will and power opens all of them, reveals all distresses, and resolves all difficulties. Bearing this meaning always in heart would make you the most powerful person in the world. Prostrate, abase yourself, and cry between His hands, Allah will grant you all what you desire. Allah says what can be translated as,

“Whatever mercy Allah opens for mankind, then none can be holding it back; and whatever He holds back, then none can be sending it forth after Him; And He is The Ever-Mighty, The Ever-Wise” (35:2)

In the battle of Badr, the Muslims numbered 300, with only two horses, and the rejecters of faith numbered 1000 men and 100 horses. The Prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasallam kept on supplicating Allah over and over to fulfill what He had promised him, to the extent that Hazrat Abu-Bakr patted him on the shoulder as a reassurance, fearing for his best friend from the urgency of his supplication. Then the Prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasallam stood up and announced to the Muslims that Jibril (AS) is leading 1000 angels to fight with them. Thereafter the Muslims were granted victory.

It is said that when facing a scientific problem, a scholar writes he used to go to the desert, lay his face in the sand, and ask for Al-Fattah’s forgiveness, for as long as it took. He said that he never came back except that Allah had resolved his problem. Furthermore, a friend of mine had a son who went through a difficult delivery, where he was pulled with an instrument that damaged the neurological cells, resulting in a severe tremble. The doctors predicted that he would either be paralyzed or die; that his father wished for his son to pass away and not have to endure paralysis. He sought Allah’s help and supplicated Him. Once when he was going to a friend he met another doctor, by chance, who told him that there was another form of medicine available, and the boy was cured by the grace of Al-Fattah. He is now a few years old and is alive and well.

The second meaning is The Superb Arbiter, who opens the doors of success at the beginning of everything. Allah says what can be translated as, “And in His Providence are the keys of the Unseen; none knows them except He” (6:59). Allah says “And in His Providence are the keys of the Unseen” not “the keys of the Unseen are in his Province” to indicate that He alone holds these keys not any one else.

The last meaning is that Al-Fattah arbitrates with justice between opponents. Allah says what can be translated as, “Say, Our Lord will gather us together; (Literally: “between” us) thereafter He will arbitrate between us with the Truth, and He is The Superb Arbiter, The Ever- Knowing” (34:26). Allah also says what can be translated as, “Our Lord! Arbitrate with the truth between us and our people, and You are The Most Charitable of arbiters” (7:89).

Syeda Aisha (RA) was unfairly accused of adultery. The people kept on slandering her for a whole month. When the Prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasallam asked her to ask for Allah’s forgiveness if she had committed any sin, she kept weeping and asked her father Hazrat Abu-Bakr to answer for her. However, he could not. She could only say what can be translated as, “So, patience is becoming. And Allah is (The One) Whose help is to be sought against what you describe” (12:18). Hence, Allah revealed Surat An-Nû‍r (The Light) to refute the alleged charges and declare her innocence. The same happened to Hazrat Yusuf (AS) (Joseph) when he was unlawfully charged with soliciting the wife of al-Aziz (the governor). He entered prison for nine years, only to leave due to a vision seen by the king. At the end, the wife of al-Aziz said what can be translated as, “…Now the truth has come to light; I did solicit him” (12:51). Throw yourself into Al-Fattah’s hands and ask for His forgiveness for we seek His freedom from the hellfire.

We approach Allah in the coming Ramadan with humility and ask him for inspiration or settlement of our matters. Approach Allah with humility tonight, go to your room, close the door and make a sajdah (prostration) asking Allah to help you solve your problems and chase away your sadness. You never know where you will be next year, or whether you will be alive or not, so ask Allah to inspire you and open doors for you with a simple act of prostration, or while you make dua’a (supplication), or as you shed a tear.

How should we deal with Allah’s name Al-Fattah (The Superb Arbiter)? First of all, Al-Fattah wants us to work diligently and full-heartedly because we never know when He may open doors for us. Sometimes Allah delays granting us solutions to test our sincerity and trust, so we should never lose hope. No matter how many times you knock on Allah’s door without it opening, it will eventually, so don’t give up and keep on trying. Keep knocking on His door even if you were rejected or denied at first. Sometimes we see people in hajj making tawaf (circumambulation of the Ka’ba) making dua’a with tearful eyes. Be an intruder then, these people may have been accepted by Allah so go make dua’a with them instead. Allah wants us to be insistent. Sometimes we refuse to take a certain phone call, but the phone keeps on ringing and ringing till we finally do answer. Al-Fattah gives us hope that nothing is really impossible and that every problem has a solution. If you love serving Islam, Allah will test your persistence, just like He tested the Prophet’s SallAllahu alaihi wasallam persistence when he called the people of tribes of Aus and Khazraj into Islam. In addition, Al-Fattah sends solutions when we least expect it. Some matters may seem like dilemmas at first when in fact they could be the key to a solution. Prophet Yusuf’s (AS) imprisonment may have seemed like a problem that was impossible to solve, but it was actually a source of good, and he later became the king of Egypt. Our nation may be in a similar state right now, even it if seems like we are only facing hardships. Remember when the Prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasallam and Hazrat Umar Ibn-Khattab (RA) were not allowed to make umrah during the treaty of Hudaybiya? When the ayah, which can be translated as, “Surely We have given you an evident conquest” ( 48:1) was revealed, Umar (RA) couldn’t understand how the treaty’s terms could allow for such a solution. The proof was that the number of people who embraced Islam shortly after the treaty of Hudaybiya was equal to the number of all those who joined it ever since the Prophet SallAllahu alaihi wasallam declared his prophethood amongst the masses of Makkah.

Moreover, the simplest of things could be lead to solutions, such as a simple word, a tear or even an ayah. We sometimes pass by an ayah we’ve read a hundred times in the Qur’an, yet one day we hear or read that ayah from a totally different perspective which completely changes our life.

Allah sends us solutions that exceed our expectations. When Syeda Hajara kept running back and forth between the two hills of Safa and Marwa in Makkah, looking for water for her son Hazrat Isma’il (AS) (Ishmael), Allah sent her zamzam water which we still drink till this very day. All I’m trying to tell you is that you should ask Allah by his name Al-Fattah to aid you, open doors for you this coming Ramadan, and solve all your problems. Would you like this Ramadan to be exceptional? Ask Allah. Remember that on the very first night of Ramadan, the gates of heaven are opened and we are granted great rewards: good deeds are multiplied by more than seventy times; our sins are forgiven every time we fast and make qiyam (voluntary night prayer). Remember the great rewards of Lailat Al-Qadr (the Night of Determination) which equals a thousand months of worship in reward. In addition, every night of Ramadan, some people are freed from the hellfire.

How should we deal with Allah’s name, Al-Fattah (The Superb Arbiter)? First, approach Him with humility. Second, have great hope in Allah’s victory, and third, be a source of good for others. Help someone tomorrow so that Allah will open doors for you. Allah’s name Al-Fattah (The Superb Arbiter) has an important meaning in our death as well as our lives. Allah helps us when the angels ask us in our graves and opens a door from which we can see our seat in heaven. Allah is with us all the time.

Suhbats-TalksAugust 7, 2007 6:55 pm

You must have firm faith in the One who does not waver, the One who created us, protects and nurtures us, and gives us our food, the One who never forgets us, even if our father and mother should forget us. In this world there are people who think, “I am the one who earns the money. I am the one who provides the food. It is not God who is doing these things. They are within my control.”

Let me tell you a story, a hadïth. A long time ago, Prophet Solomon (A.S.) ruled over the jinns and fairies, the animals and reptiles, and all beings on earth. Allah had bestowed upon him the title of emperor, and as the symbol of authority had given him a ring with a seal. In those days Solomon (A.S.) reigned as emperor over everything.

Jinns, fairies, and all creations would bring him, as an offering, a share of everything that grew in the world. They would give him a portion of whatever they had earned or gathered. The Prophet Solomon (A.S.) accumulated all of this and thus gained a great deal of respect and authority because of his affluence.

One day Solomon (A.S.) requested of Allah, “O my Lord! O my Creator! I have accumulated vast amounts of food. Please give me permission to feed all the creatures in the world for six months.”

But Allah replied, “O Solomon! It is true that I made you ruler of the world. But I am the sovereign Lord over everything. I alone can feed the lives I have created. No one else can do this. Creating, protecting, nourishing, and judging these duties are Mine alone. O Solomon! You are depending on all the food you have stacked up, but that is just like hay. It is useless, nothing but chaff. The real food is with Me. I alone possess the nourishment that suffices.”

Still Solomon (A.S.) pleaded, “O Allah! Look at these mountains upon mountains of food. I have to give it away. So please give me permission to feed the lives for at least one month.”

But Allah answered, “O Solomon! You cannot feed My creations.

Only the One who created them can feed them. I have multiplied everything in the world a hundred thousand times merely to satisfy the greed and desire of the people in the world. What appears to you to be food is only food for one’s desires (nafs ammarah). None but I can really feed My creations. That true food is in My keeping. As soon as the portion that has been decreed for each creation is used up, that life cannot remain in the world any longer. This agreement governs every life. The real food and water is in My hands the water of My grace and the permissible food that truly nourishes. I have not given these into anyone else’s charge. They are Mine alone to give.” So said Allah.

But Solomon (A.S.) continued to beg for permission to feed the creations, if only for a week. Again Allah answered, “Not for a week, not even for a day would you be able to feed them. I am the only One who knows the hunger, or needs, of My creations. And with that knowing I feed them at the right times and with the right amount. You do not possess that knowledge.”

In spite of this Solomon (A.S.) persisted. Finally God said, “In order to make you realize what you are asking for, I will let you attempt to feed the creatures of the ocean for just one time.”

Prophet Solomon (A.S.) joyfully accepted, and summoning all the jinns and fairies, directed them to prepare the food. They cooked the food and piled it up in huge mountains, each one as high as the Himalayas. There were also mountains and mountains of uncooked food. The jinns and fairies were still gathering food and bringing it in, but so much food was piled up that the entire earth was covered, and there was no room left.

Then Solomon (A.S.) went to the shore, clapped his hands, and called out, “Come, O fish! Come O creations of the ocean! I have obtained permission from Allah to feed you this one meal today. Come and eat the food I have prepared for you.”

One fish appeared with its mouth open wide. When it struck the water with its huge tail and ns, the water splashed fifty miles high into the sky. Then it opened its jaws even wider and thundered, “Aaaaaii! I am hungry! I am thirsty! O Solomon, son of David! Give me food!” The whole sky trembled.

Solomon (A.S.) immediately commanded the jinns and fairies to feed the fish. They kept pouring food in, but the fish still bellowed, “Give me more! What you gave was only the size of a mustard seed to me!” Then the fish opened its mouth and with a roar sucked in every bit of the food that had been piled up, both cooked and uncooked. It even swallowed most of the jinns and fairies. Except for Solomon (A.S.) and a few jinns and fairies who escaped, everything had gone into the fish’s stomach. But still the fish roared, “O Solomon, son of David! I am hungry! I am thirsty! Give me food.”

Now Solomon (A.S.) pleaded with Allah, “O Allah! Please save me. Please control this fish’s hunger. O Allah, do something!”

And Allah said, “Feed him! Feed him! After all, you were going to feed all of them for six months, weren’t you? Surely you can feed one fish. Give it some food!”

“O God! All the food is gone,” cried Solomon (A.S.). “Even the jinns and fairies have vanished.”

“This is exactly what I warned you,” Allah replied. “Carry on with the feeding.”

“O Allah!” pleaded Solomon (A.S.). “There is nothing left. I am the only one here.”

And once again Allah said to Solomon (A.S.), “I told you that I alone can feed My creations. I warned you that you could not do it, but you insisted, so feed them!”

Now the fish started beating its tail again, and the waves rose sky high. “O God! Save me,” wailed Solomon (A.S.). “Forgive me, O Allah! It is true I rule the kingdom, but the wealth and the benevolence (rahmat) are Yours. You are right. Whatever I have is merely hay.”

Then Allah sent down just one drop of pure clear water, and one tiny particle of food, each the size of an atom, which came flying into the open mouth of the fish. The fish exclaimed, “Ahhh! Al-hamdu lilläh (All praise be to God). O Lord who created me! You alone can satisfy my hunger. Now at last I am content,” and it closed its mouth.

After this, Solomon (A.S.) asked, “O fish! Are you the only creature in this ocean, or are there more like you?”

“There are many, many more. I live in just one corner of the ocean. My mother has seventy thousand children. I am the smallest. And our family is just one family. There are many, many more families.”

“Are you the youngest?” asked Solomon (A.S.).

“Yes, I am.”

“But you are so big!” Solomon (A.S.) exclaimed.

“My next older brother is seventy thousand times bigger than I am. The next is seventy thousand times bigger than he, and so it goes through all seventy thousand children. Our mother is seventy thousand times bigger than the oldest brother and our father is seventy thousand times bigger than mother. I was sent to eat first because I am the baby.”

“Al-hamdu lilläh! (Praise be to God). Are there really other families in the sea as big as yours?” asked Solomon (A.S.) in disbelief.

“Millions of them,” said the fish as it swam away.

After this, Solomon (A.S.), son of David (A.S.), received this explanation directly from Allah, “Allah is the Creator. You must accept that He is beyond all comparison. There is nothing like Him. You must know that this is true.”

Therefore, who has the real food? Only Allah. Only when that comes to you will you be satisfied and say, “Al-hamdu lilläh (All praise is to God).” Anything else you seek and accumulate in the world is merely garbage or chaff or straw. Allah has multiplied one into a hundred, a thousand, a million fold for the sake of our selfish desires (nafs), and that still does not satisfy our hunger. The only thing that can satisfy our hunger is His grace. Just a tiny atom of that suffices Whatever our eyes can see is but the hay of hell, hay for our desires. The real food and water is His grace. That is His rizq. That is the only thing that can be called real food. That grace is with Him. Therefore, if you believe in Him, you will have peace. If you make steadfast your faith in Him, you will not face difficulties, because whatever happens, you will be able to say, “All praise be to God (al-hamdu lilläh).”

(A paper read at the 1964 annual meeting of the American Oriental Society in New York, N.Y.

Before taking up al-Jami’s arguments for the existence of existence(1) I should like first to explain briefly why it was that al-Jami was concerned with trying to prove that existence exists.

al-Jami, who died in the year 898 of the hijrah, was, first of all, an adherent of the “oneness of existence” or wahdat al-wujud school of Islamic mysticism. The doctrines of this school go back to Ibn al-Arabi,(2) but they were subsequently, and particularly during the seventh and eighth centuries, greatly developed and clarified by such men as Sadr al-Din al-Qunawi,(3)Abd al-Razzaq al-Qashani,(4) and Dawud al-Qaysari.(5) As these doctrines were developed, however, they began to encounter the opposition of some of the more rationalist theologians, such as al-Taftazani,(6) because, as these theologians claimed, they contradicted reason and could not, therefore, be true.

Now this position of the theologians was based on their belief that the truth of Islam, as revealed in the Qur’an, depended ultimately upon truths which could be arrived at only through reason. That is, before one could accept the revelation of the Qur’an as true one had first to use reason to prove the existence of God, that God has certain attributes, that it is possible for Him to send prophets, that Muhammad is a prophet sent by God and that he is truthful. If one could not prove any of these points, then there was no reason why one should believe the Qur’an to be true.

Moreover, if any part of revelation seemed to contradict what reason determined to be true then that part of revelation must be interpreted in such a way as to be in accord with reason. Otherwise it could be said that revelation invalidated the very thing upon which it was ultimately based.(7)

In the same way it was claimed that knowledge gained through mystical experiences, like the knowledge gained from revelation, must not include anything that reason showed to be impossible. Mystical experiences, like revelation, were valid sources of knowledge but they had to be interpreted in such a way as to remain within the realm of the possible.

Because the opposition of the theologians to the Sufi doctrine of the oneness of existence was based on the argument that it contradicted reason, the Sufis, in defense of their doctrine, had to show that it could, on the contrary, be explained in a completely rational way; and in the ninth century we find a number of Sufis, including al-Fanari,(8) al-Maha’imi(9) and al-Jami, attempting to do just this.

Now the basic doctrine of the oneness of existence school is that God is absolute existence or al-wujud al-mutlaq. and that this absolute existence is the only thing that really exists. The doctrine is based on the experience of the Sufi in the state of fana’, or annihilation, in which the external world, as well as the Sufi’s awareness of his own self, disappears and he is conscious of God alone as the one Reality.

The conclusion that this one reality is absolute existence seems to have been arrived at as follows. First, a distinction was made between essence or quiddity on the one hand and existence on the other. Then existence was asserted to be a quality which could be predicated of quiddities. But because it would be absurd to say that existence itself did not exist, existence was then thought of as existing necessarily, and, since God is defined as the one necessarily existent being, God and existence must be one and the same being.

To this the rationalist theologians objected that absolute existence, insofar as it is an attribute common to everything said to exist, is a universal concept that exists only in the mind and can have no existence in theexternal world as a particular, individual thing.(10) God, on the other hand, is an individual existing in the external world and cannot therefore be the same as absolute existence.

It is in answer to this objection of the theologians that al-Jami attempts to show in his Risalah fi al-Wujud that absolute existence can be said to exist in the external world as a single individual entity and that it can therefore be God.

Using a simple modus tollens argument he says that if existence did not exist, then nothing would exist at all; and since the consequent of this statement, that is, that nothing would exist at all, is obviously false, then the antecedent, that existence does not exist, is also false and that therefore existence does exist.

Now the truth of the statement that “if existence did not exist nothing would exist at all” is shown as follows: First, essences or quiddities in themselves are non-existent externally unless external existence is added to them. But if existence is also non-existent, then we will not be able to predicate it of a similarly non-existent quiddity and get, as a result, a quiddity existing externally. This is so because, in order to predicate an attribute of a subject, the subject must first exist and there is no reason to think that this rule does not apply in the case of predicating existence of a quiddity.

Therefore, if the subject cannot be said to exist externally, we shall have to say that at least the predicate, or existence, must exist externally, and if this is so we can reverse the relationship and make existence the subject and predicate a quiddity of it. In other words, instead of saying that a certain quiddity exists, we can say that existence is a certain quiddity.

Existence then becomes the only real externally existent thing and quiddities remain purely mental entities inhering in existence; and since quiddities are purely mental entities existing only in the mind, existence can be the subject of many different and contradictory predicates.

Furthermore existence must exist through itself rather than through another existence superadded to it, for otherwise an endless chain of existences would result. Also, if it exists through itself, it must necessarily exist and, if this is so, it must be identical with God. Thus God or absolute existence becomes the one externally existing Reality, and the physical universe is reduced to a mere mental existence in God’s knowledge.

As salamu alaikum!

Destur ya Sultanul Awliya, Meded ya Rijalallah/support us O holy men of Allah!

Astaghfirullah, Astaghfirullah, Astaghfirullah, min kulli dhanbin wa ma‘siyya, min kulli ma yukhallifu dinal Islam..

Audhu billahi minashaytanirrajim, Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. La haula wa la quwatta illa billahil aliyul adhim

Welcome to you who is coming with a good intention, welcome! Who is coming with bad intention, badness coming on his neck like a snake..

It is a humble meeting and we are a humble person. We are claiming to be humble but our egos never happy to be humble, egos always asking to be VIP.

There is a ‘hikmet’, wisdom, from the Prophets Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam knowledge that is reaching to us: Aqamal ibad fi ma arad, wa lahul murad fi ma yurid, jallal wahidul farid, qad aflaha man qala: La ilaha illallah, la ilaha illallah, la ilaha illallah… illallah, illallah, ilallah.. -Hu Allah!..

Giving life and power to our souls that is what this valuable, honorable declaration is giving you and also supporting you. Don’t think, O people.. Do not ask support from material things, don’t ask support from your gold and silver, don’t ask support from your treasures or diamonds or rubies or saphires, that is false, that is false! Material things are never going to support you! But people in our days, 21st century people, they are idiot ones, ignorant ones, no honoured ones, no mindful ones, all foolish ones, crazy ones, because they are asking support from gold or from precious stones or they are asking support from treasures of this world. What is treasures?

Now it is a new ignorant period, ‘jahiliyatul ula’, ‘jahiliyatul thani’; the first ignorant period before the time of the Seal of Prophets sallallahu alaihi wa sallam and Allah Almighty was sending His Holy Message through His most honorable servant in His divinely Presence, Sayyidina Muhammad, that the Lord of Heavens, the Creator of whole creation, saying with His honored words, honored addressing, to Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam: ‘O My most beloved servant, most honored servant, O My representative through creation! If I haven’t had not created you, I would have never created anything! For your honor I created!’

Salafi people, ahlul bida/adopting new religious practice into Islam different from the Prophet’s faith, they are denying this, and I am asking to them: ‘Who is the most honored one in the divinely Presence, if Sayyidina Muhammad is not the most beloved, the most honored, the most praised one? But -yet he is servant of the Lord of Heavens but his servanthood just crowned by being Habib, the most beloved one, and also he had been distinguished to be the representative of the Lord of Heavens.’ But salafi people and ahlul bid‘a they are denying. They have no mind! They are running through dark darkness of ignorance. They are the most envious ones, they are never going to be happy -as non-Muslims are never happy to be Sayyidina Muhammad the most praised one in the divine Presence, they are unhappy.. In spite of their wish Allah Almighty was selecting or electing or choosing that one!

I am going to their mosques through Western countries, I am looking where salafi people, non-believers and no-adab/manners people with the Seal of Prophets they are making their mosques like hangar, yes! I am asking: “What is that? What is this? This is an empty hall!” I am saying to them: “No sign that this is a holy place. You haven’t any holy name to be written through your mosques, through your worshipping places? How you are doing this? I think that you are building this, maybe one day the world is changing and you are going to be changed.”

(They think:) ‘We may leave this place and we may sell it as a ware-house or another room… They may say: “We are thinking if a changing is coming through Western countries and they are denying to be there mosques, we may rent them; to be dancing hall, discotheque… therefore we are not putting anything to be known that it was a praying place”…

Tu/pooh! -Maulana is spitting- in your beliefs, tu on your bad dealing, tu on your bad adab! May Allah cursing you, taking you away! Muslims must be brave; they are not hiding themselves! This is a place for praying, a building for praying to Allah Almighty!

I am asking: “O Salafi people, what is written on the magnificent, glorious Throne? Do you think that nothing is written on it?” They are shaking their minds -what they may say? Through all Holy Books, from the beginning up to the Seal of Prophets, it is just mentioned that on the Divinely Throne, the glorious Throne of the Lord of Heavens, it is written: La ilaha illallah, Muhammadur Rasulullah! True or not? haha! But salafi people are saying…”Hm, hm, hm…” their mouths are just closed… What is this? No word! I am saying: “Not hearing, what I am saying? What is written on the divinely Throne? Is it not written: La ilaha illallah, Muhammadur Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam? Do you think that the Name of the Lord of Heavens is written only? La ilaha illallah, without being written in front of it Muhammadur Rasulullah? Say to me!”

I am asking: “When was ‘Muhammadun Rasulullah’? From which time on was his prophecy?.. Before the creation of the material world, through the spiritual world, his name was written ‘La ilaha illallah’: Muhammadur Rasulullah!” They are not respecting, they are saying, “Shirk!” If it is shirk/associating partnership with Allah, haha, why? You are saying to Allah that He put the name of Muhammad next to His? You are accusing Allah, -saying-: ‘Why you are putting his name? We are only believing in You, nothing else’?”

They are going to be like shaytan; when Allah Almighty ordering: ‘Bow to Adam’, whole angels bowing, making sajda/prostration, except iblis/satan, who was saying: ‘No, You are wrong’- astaghfirullah- “You are wrong! I am never going to make sajda to that Adam!” Those salafi people that are against ahlul sunna wal jamaat, they should fight with Allah: “Why you are writing in front of Your name ‘Muhammadur Rasulullah’? We are only accepting You, no one else!”

Therefore -that is a big bomb to destroy their weak defense bombs… we are not using yet heavy bombarding batteries. When Imam Mehdi coming, we shall use heavy bombing.. on their heads! Sometimes I am very easy one, sometimes I am very terrible one, according to the high Command of Allah…

I am nothing, I am zero but when One is going to be with me, I am something! Zero is nothing, but when you are putting one before zero, it is bringing value: ten, hundred, thousand, ten thousand, hundred thousand, million, billion, trillion… quatrillion…pentrill ion… -ton, -ton, -ton… ! You may put one, it is carrying countless value, giving to zero, without going to be less from his treasures; He is only giving support to zero. He is never giving it a person who is claiming: ‘I am two’, ‘I am three’, ‘I am four’, ‘I am five’ - no! Who is saying: “Zero, I am zero, I am zero, I am zero!” “You are zero? Be ten, be hundred, be thousand, be ten thousand, be…” Yes, I am zero but if Allah Almighty is supporting with Divinely Support, I may throw away the whole world, everything on it through the universe, to be through unseen worlds and bringing another!

As in bus stations, bus coming, standing there. When order coming, moving, when it is going, going to be empty bus station. Coming another, going, coming another…

Hu Allah! You must believe in your Lord, in Allah Almighty, O people! Come to right beliefs! Don’t follow shaytan; be happy with Allah, whoever is happy with Allah, your Lord is happy with him! Allah is happy with Sayyindina Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, how you are not going to be happy with him, saying, if we are making him respected, this is going to be ‘shirk’! You know Allah? If no Sayiddina Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, anbiya, prophets, they were knowing, would they be able to know, Allah? If no Sayddina Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam angels, Sayyindina Gibrail, Israfil, Mikhail, Azrail and countless angels they are knowing Allah?

O people, come and accept truth, if not, I am on your head (Allah closer to creation then Shahrag Juguliar vein)! When One is with me, I may take them all away in a second! Less than a second of time. Beware, O people, don’t speak against the Seal of Prophets! Give much more respect to him, that makes Allah happy with you! If you are not respecting him, you are not going to be respected ones! As much as you are giving value and respect and honor, then you should find for you honor and respect in the Divinely Presence.

May Allah forgive us for the honor of that one that Allah Almighty is giving to him that honor and he is from pre-eternal up to eternal the representative of the Lord of Heavens. You must believe it!

May Allah forgive us and bless you for the honor of the most honored one in His Divine Presence, Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam peace be upon him, Fatiha
